Saint Germain<\/strong> is a revisited version of a timeless wardrobe garment: the marini\u00e8re. This model exudes joie de vivre and originality with its sunny stripes and flute sleeves that seem to float in the wind. <\/span><\/p>\n

I used Air de Lune 100% Merino Superwash 400 m \/ 100 g (100% merino SW). The yardage needed will be: (730, 770, 800, 830) 880, 910, 970, 1030 (1080, 1130, 1160, 1200) {1260, 1320, 1450} m of fingering weight yarn for the contrasting color and (300, 320, 330, 370) 400, 440, 470, 500 (550, 580, 610, 650) {670, 690, 7100} m of fingering weight yarn for the main color<\/p>\n

Construction<\/h3>\n

\"Saint-Germain\" is a sailor sweater that is knit in one piece from top to bottom. You start by knitting the back by shaping the shoulder slope with short rows, then you pick up stitches along the back construction row to start the front while continuing to shape the shoulder slope with short rows. You continue the upper body yoke by making the raglan increases. The stitches for the sleeves are then put on hold to continue the body, before being picked up to knit the sleeves that end in a flute shape.
\nThis sweater can be worn without ease or with a slight negative or positive ease of 5 cm.<\/p>\n
