Yarn

You need a sock yarn to knit these socks and a fingering yarn held in double to embroider them.

I used WYS Signature (75 % wool including 35% BFL, 25% nylon) 400 m / 100 g
MC: color Liquorice approx. 134 (140, 146, 150)(158,168, 180)m
CC: color Chocolate Lime approx. 76 (80, 84, 88)(94, 100, 110) m

Gauge

30 sts / 40 rds in stockinette st

Notions

30 cm (12’’) 2.5 mm (US1½) circ needle (or 5 DPN’s)
30 cm (12’’) 2.75 mm (US2) circ needle (or 5 DPN’s)
Third needle in the same size for grafting
Tapestry needle
4 Stitch Markers
Scrap yarn for the heel

XXS:32-34 (1-2), XS: 34-36 (4.5-6.5), S: 36-38 (5-6.5), M: 39-41 (7.5-8.5), L: 42-43 (9.5-10), XL: 44-45 (10-11), XXL: 46-47 (12.5-13.25)

Construction

These socks are toe up constructed.
The heel is added later once the leg is finished (afterthought heel).
To best choose your sock size, select according to the circumference of foot’s sole.
The length of the foot is totally adaptable.
The socks are worn with a negative ease of 1.5 to 2.5 cm (1/2 to 1’’).
