Description

Thornton Cowl is a mosaic knitting cowl that alternates long sections of stockinette stitch and short sections of mosaic knitting. This cowl will allow you to try your hand at mosaic knitting because it has no purl rows and is work as a tube.

Yarn

The cowl is knitted with a fingering yarn in 2 contrasting colors. For this sample, I used Arco Iris Yarn Dr Wool in color Muad’Dib approx. 344 m and Elementary approx. 360 m

Gauge

28 sts / 36 rds in stranded colorwork

60 cm (24″) 3.25 mm (US 4) circ needle
Tapestry needle
7 Stitch Markers
Scrap yarn for provisional CO
3.5 mm (US 4) crochet hook
