Description
Horta Socks are knitted toe up ankle socks. They are the essential white ankle socks for any wardrobe. They are embellished with a little touch of originality given by the Kogin embroidery.
Yarn
You need a sock yarn to knit these socks and a fingering yarn held in double to embroider them.
I used WYS Signature (75 % wool including 35% BFL, 25% nylon) 400 m / 100 g and Peregrine for the embroidery

Embroidery: CLK Peregrine (100% Est-A-Laine Merino) 400 m / 100 g approx. 10 m color Lichen

Construction
These ankle socks are toe up constructed.
The heel is added later once the leg is finished (afterthought heel).
To best choose your sock, select according to the circumference of foot’s sole and ankle.
The length of the foot and the leg are totally adaptable.
The socks are worn with a negative ease of 1.5 to 2.5 cm (1/2 to 1’’).
