Since I was a little girl, I've been creating with my hands, first under the guidance of my grandmother; I actually made my very first sweater without a pattern at the age of 15 - a very long jersey sweater with some cable ribbing and a turtleneck. Like many of you, I went to school, nursing in my case, and left the creative arts behind. I graduated, started working, got married, had children, and went back to school again.
But as soon as my youngest was born, I knew it was time to move away from the usual routine of work and sleep and start a new adventure. I ended my career in healthcare and dedicated myself full-time to pattern making.
