You need two contrasting colors DK yarns to knit this cowl or a combo of 5 minis + one constrasting color.
I used Peregrine DK 190 m / 100 g for my prototypes in the following colors and yardages:
Bicolor sample: BC: Ivoire approx. 180 m, CC: Huang approx. 200 m
Rainbow sample: BC: Smokey approx. 190 m, CC: Love is Love 5 minis approx. 200 m (respectively: Green 25 g, Yellow 14 g, Orange 19 g, Pink 20 g, Lilac 22 g)
