Yarn
You need sock yarn to knit these socks.
I used Malabrigo Yarn Sock to make the first prototypes and my sample knitter used WYS Signature (75 % wool including 35% BFL, 25% nylon) 400 m / 100 g in three colors

Gauge
30m. / 40 rounds in stockinette stitch in the round
Notions
1 short circ. needle 2.75 mm, 30 cm long or 5 double-pointed needles 2.75 mm
1 short 3.25 mm circ. needle, 30 cm long or 5 double-pointed needles, 3.25 mm for the jacquard part
A third needle of the same caliber for grafting
1 tapestry needle
5-6 markers
scrap yarn for the heel

Construction
The socks in this collection are all toe up constructed.
The heel is added later once the leg is finished (afterthought heel).
To best choose your sock, select according to the circumference of the sole of your foot.
The length of the foot and the leg are totally adaptable.
Socks are worn with a negative ease of 1.5 to 2.5 cm.
