The Pym & Pullpy collection is a collection for men (but not only) which includes a striped sweater and 4 pairs of socks as well as two embroidery patterns!
The collection is available here in the shop and on Ravelry.
Pym & Pullpy or how to revisit the classics
1. The history of the Pym & Pullpy collection
It's time to get back to the blog with the presentation of this collection.
About 6 months ago I contacted Sylvain Daudier to close the previous project and as we have two rather indomitable creative spirits, the possibility of a new collaboration quickly came up.
It all started with two colors to match and ended with a complete collection of several patterns!

2. The sweater: Pullpy Sweater
It's clear that men's sweaters are extremely rare in the world of knitting, or when they do exist, they are quite classic; we have therefore decided to give a new look to a great fashion classic: the striped sweater.
The goal was to break the mold. First, by shaking up the classic color scheme of blue and white with a touch of red, opting for a petrol-green blue dotted with purple and rust, white dotted with black, and orange dotted with black to add depth to the striped sweater.
Then break the codes by inserting a softened motif of the sea monster found in mythology: the Kraken (elegantly named here Pullpy).
And of course, include a character who mirrors the Kraken, the intrepid sailor Pym, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's novel, The Adventures of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket!
3. Socks: Pym, Pullpy, Wavy and Anchor
In our creative flight, we didn't stop at the sweater, we had to complete the model with something else!
So, 4 sock patterns were born! Yes, 4!!! For someone who struggles to knit two identical socks in a row, this was a real challenge for me!
All four pairs of socks are constructed the same way: from the toe to the shaft with a heel afterward.
All patterns feature jacquard and are of varying skill levels. Some are easy to knit, while others require a bit more technical skill.

4. Embroidery: Pym & Pullpy
By introducing Sylvain to the world of thread, I put his finger in the cogs of a devouring passion that is embroidery!
Very quickly the idea of designing an embroidery came to me!
But how to integrate it into this project?
That's when my friend Laurence, Serial Stitcher, put in her two cents and suggested we embroider this on a sock bag!
And the circle is complete!
A sweater, socks and a mini sailor bag to go on an adventure!

5. Where to find the patterns?
All patterns are in the shop ChristalLK, whether it's knitting patterns or embroidery patterns!
We have even prepared kits for you!
Luxury, Classic, and Embroidery!

You will of course find the knitting patterns in my shop Ravelry and soon on Lovecrafts and Makerist
7. If you want to know more
In the coming days, I will share with you more specific articles on the patterns: their construction, the techniques used, etc.
In the meantime, you can also watch the YouTube Live filmed on 04/20 on the ChristalLK channel (it was my first live, so the sound quality is average).
I hope you'll love the collection and that this article will make you want to knit or embroider at least one piece.
