Yarn
You will need a DK weight yarn to knit this top.
I used Lilou Tweed DK 212m / 100g (85% wool - 15% nylon / polyamide yarn) at the time which is now unavailable but any yarn of this quality can be used.
Gauge
20m. / 30 rows in stockinette stitch in the round
Notions
4mm circ. needle 100cm long
5 double-pointed needles 4 mm for small circumferences (sleeves)
3.75 mm circular needle, 100 cm long (for the sleeve hem and neckband)
1 cable needle
1 tapestry needle
4 markers
4 mm hook
Scrap yarn for provisional CO
Final measurements
65 (69, 72, 78, 85, 92) cm
Construction
This sweater is worked from the top with the set in sleeves method. Back and fronts are worked separately before joining them to work the body.
The sleeves are then picked up and knitted along the armholes.
This sweater is worn with a positive ease of 5 to 10 cm.
