Caricia Top

Description

Caricia Top is a lightweight summer top, knitted in bouclé cotton, with delicate butterfly sleeves and a flowing cut.

Ideal for sunny days, it combines comfort, femininity and simplicity.

Yarn

You will need fingering yarn to knit it.

I used Vulcan Yarn Cotton Bouclé (100% cotton) 500 m / 100 g, in size 6 with an ease of 10 cm.
You will need approximately 700 [775, 885][950, 1100][1200,1350][1420, 1500, 1600] m or 2 [2, 2][2, 3][3, 3][3, 4, 4] skeins of Lime to knit it.

Gauge

22 stitches / 28 rows in stockinette stitch in the round for 10 cm after blocking with 3.25 mm needles

Notions

• 2.75 mm circ. needle 80 cm long for the neckline
• 3.25 mm circ. needle, 80 to 100 cm long depending on the size
• 5 3.25 mm DPN for small circumferences (sleeves) if needed
• 1 tapestry needle
• 10 markers if needed

Construction

This top is worked from the top using the contiguous method for the V-neck.
The back, front and sleeves are worked together before separating them at the armpits to work the body and then add the sleeves.
This top is worn with a positive ease of 10 cm.
