Limagne Tee

Description

Limagneis a top worked from the top using Peregrine fingering yarn. Its fine ribbed body flatters the figure, while delicate lace at the hem adds a touch of femininity and originality. Its round neckline and comfortable fit make it an easy-to-wear everyday piece, just as pretty with a skirt as it is with pants.

Yarn

You will need fingering yarn to knit it.

I used CLK Peregrine (100 % Es-A-Laine Merino) 388 m / 100 g approx. 860 [959, 1047] [1138, 1281][1335, 1459, 1598] m or 3 [3, 3][3, 4][4, 4, 5] skeins color Perle.

Gauge

With 3.5 mm needles, 24 sts / 34 Rds in 5*1 Ribs per 10 cm/4” in the round after blocking

• 3.5 mm (US 4) 60 cm circ needle for back and front.
• 3.5 mm (US 4) 100 cm circ needle for body
• 5 3.5 mm DPN's for small circumferences (sleeves) if necessary.
• 1 tapestry needle
• 4 markers if necessary.
• 4 Removable markers

Construction

This tee is worked from the top .
First, the back is worked flat to the armholes.
Then you pick up stitches along the shoulders to work the fronts separately while creating the neckline.
Once the fronts are finished, join the back and fronts to form the body, which you work in the round.
The body is finished with a large lace panel.
The sleeves are then picked up along the front and back sides and worked with short rows to create the cap.
This sweater can be worn with a positive ease of 5 to 10 cm.
