Yarn
You need two skein of a fingering yarn to knit this shawl. Kits are available here (pre-order only).
I used Vulcan Yarn Super M (100% merino SW) 400 m / 100 g for my samples in the following colors and yardages:
Small sample : Frosty approx. 632 m
Larger sample : Disco approx. 748 m
Gauge
25 Sts / 27 Rows in lace pattern (each diamond measures approximately 5 cm wide and 8.5 cm high) for 10 cm after blocking
Notions
3.5 mm circle needle 60 cm long
tapestry needle markers if needed
Final measurements
Depth: 44 (59) cm
Length: 234 (275) cm
If you want to knit a smaller or larger size, simply adjust the number of repeats. Each repeat adds or subtracts 12 stitches. Be sure to weigh your yarn beforehand to avoid running out while you’re working on the project.
