This fold is probably one of the most flexible folds I know for folding on ribs.

It is perfect for casting off sock stitches starting at the toe.

How to knit this "lTBO" cast-off?

Step-by-step explanation of "LTBO" folding

Step 1: Knit the first stitch.

Then, step 2: Turn your stitch on itself from back to front (you rotate with the needle), the yarn will end up in front of your work.

Step 3: Then purl the next stitch. Cast off the previous stitch over this stitch.

Next, step 4: Turn your stitch on itself from front to back, the yarn will end up behind your work.

To finish, step 5: Knit the next stitch, cast off the previous stitch onto it.

Repeat steps 2 through 5 until you have cast off all stitches.

This method was created by Lorraine LeGrand, you will find the information on Ravelry.

  1. A big thank you for the clarity of the explanations and the viewing.
Moreover, it allows me to confront myself with English and perhaps manage to confront the bosses in English!
Once again, a huge thank you.
