The Otakou shawl is a triangular shawl that is knitted top-down from the center of the long side. It begins with a garter tab cast-on, that is, a small strip of garter stitch that allows the shawl to begin neatly from the edge.

The Otakou shawl is a triangular shawl that is knitted top-down from the center of the long side. It begins with a garter tab cast-on, that is, a small strip of garter stitch that allows the shawl to begin neatly from the edge.
This lovely pattern takes advantage of Peregrine's versatility as it is all about texture.
The model in the photo is in Red Fox color.
I have selected 5 different colors for you that will highlight this Gansey-type texture.
